Bio
Born and raised in Jacksonville’s beaches, Carson Proctor joined the firm in 2023. She graduated from Florida State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree, with a concentration in Environmental Law, from the University of Miami School of Law, and her Master’s degree in Marine Ecosystems & Society from the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, & Earth Science in 2022. During her time at Miami Law, she received the CALI Award for the Marine Ecology & Law Seminar and the Honorable Stanford Blake Award for the University of Miami’s Litigation Skills Program. She held various leadership positions in organizations such as the Environmental Law Society, Maritime Law Society, and the Student Bar Association. She was also involved in the First-Generation Law Association, Miami Law Women, and served as a PIN Pal Mentor for the Public Interest Network. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing and biking on the beach.
