Bio
Robert (Bob) Scott Cox is a sixth-generation Floridian and the Director of Litigation for Ben Crump Law. He is a board certified civil trial lawyer with 35 years of jury trial experience in state and federal Courts. He graduated with honors from the Florida State University College of Law in 1979 and was admitted to the Florida Bar. His practice primarily focuses on personal injury and corporate litigation. He has an AV rating from Martindale Hubble, indicating the highest rating for professional competence and ethics. He has taught seminars in personal injury law and has authored numerous articles on trial practice. Mr. Cox served as general counsel to the Florida High Speed Magnetic Levitation Demonstration Project and has extensive experience in the field of transportation research. He has founded his own law firms and has achieved multiple verdicts and settlements in excess of a million dollars, making him a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Outside of his legal career, Mr. Cox is involved with the Outward Bound School and has participated in expeditions in various locations around the world. He was born in Fort Myers, Florida, attended the University of South Florida, and has three children and three grandchildren.
