Businesses can solve these issues by talking to regulators and communities and sharing information. It’s important for everyone to be able to talk about these issues and work together. The Florida government has been looking at the issue of fairness and justice in environmental laws since 1994. They found that people of color and low-income communities are more likely to live near places that produce pollution.
